PhD en Historia de la State University of New York at Stony Brook. Becario CONICYT (2008-2012). Licenciado en Historia, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Sus áreas de especialización son los vínculos entre burocracia, poder local y producción de conocimiento estatal en perspectiva histórica. Ha publicado artículos en proyectos editoriales colectivos y revistas académicas nacionales y extranjeras. Fue Coordinador Académico del Departamento de Historia de la Universidad Alberto Hurtado. Desde marzo de 2012 se desempeña como investigador del Centro de Estudios de Historia Política de la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez y profesor de la Escuela de Gobierno.

His areas of research revolve around the links among bureaucracy, local power, and the production of state knowledge in historical perspective. He has published articles in collective editorial projects and local and international scholarly journals. He also served as Academic Coordinator of the Department of History at the Universidad Alberto Hurtado. Since March 2012 he works as a researcher at the Center for the Study of Political History and Assistant Professor of the School of Government at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
